Our first fundraiser!
We’re excited to announce the MEF2C Foundation Australia’s first fundraiser!
The MEF2C Foundation Australia is raising money for research into MEF2C Haploinsufficiency Syndrome (MCHS) and pathways to therapeutic treatments.
MCHS is an extremely rare genetic disorder caused by a mutation or deletion in the MEF2C gene which affects the development and function of the brain and other systems in the body. Individuals with MCHS often have severe intellectual disability, problems with motor function, absent speech and seizures, making daily life unpredictable and challenging. The physical and cognitive symptoms of MCHS often mean that individuals require lifelong care and support.
You can make a difference by donating today to the MEF2C Foundation Australia.
Visit our GoFundMe page to donate. Donations over $2 are tax deductible.
We’re grateful for your support.
With thanks and hope
