Race bibs

When you registered your team captain should have nominated whether you would collect your race bibs or they would be posted to you. You can check this in Race Roster (the app you used to register). The following info has been provided by the race organisers. NB no bib collection on race day:

Bibs are being finalised and posted out now, if your bib does not arrive before your race you can pick one up from one of the collection points.

You can collect your Bondi to Manly Ultra bib at either of the following times:

Saturday 17 October 2026 - Manly

10:00am – 3:00pm

Friday 23 October 2026

12:00pm – 6:00pm - Bondi Pavilion, Bondi

You’re welcome to collect your bib at whichever location and time is most convenient for you.

Race Day

According to the event website the relay commences at 6:30 am. We will update you if this changes. The race will start in front of the Bondi Pavilion, and runners will be sent off in ‘waves’ of about a dozen people at a time.

Mefties Run Club will have a meeting point in front of the Pavilion for runners doing the first leg of the relay. It would be great if you are able to meet us there, as we’d love to introduce ourselves and put faces to names if we haven’t met you yet.

At the race start and each changeover point we will have a meeting point and will have badges and stamps to adorn your kit. We have these to generate interest in who we are and what we do, but it will also be a helpful way to identify each other on course and at the meeting points. Don’t be afraid to introduce yourselves!

Take lots of photos! We don’t have a photographer on the day so we will be relying on you to capture as much as possible. The changeover points and finish line are great spots for shots.

Each changeover point is busy. If you are not getting a lift to your starting point then we recommend getting public transport. For the most fun though, get your team into a carpool and get to the start and to as many changeover points as you can - they’re where all the energy and fun are at, and it doesn’t hurt to get there early.

Timing-wise it will be different for every team, but it’s worth estimating approximately how long it will take you to run your leg and plan as a team when you’re likely to each reach the changeover point.

There is a live tracking facility for each runner - details about this coming soon (if anyone has intel about this please share!).
It’s a good idea to keep a phone with you on the run so you can update your team mates on your progress. By now you should have some idea of the route that you are running - it’s worth checking out the course map if you haven’t already. More information about the relay can be found here

After the run

From 3pm we will be gathering nearby at the Manly Club (on the patio).
